Mike McGrory from McGrory Glass will present a one hour CEU on Glass and Glazing for Interior Design. This AIA/CES Registered Presentation will discuss Float and Safety Glass manufacturing techniques, regular versus low-iron glass differences, and the numerous glass modification methods for decorative applications. The various glass fabrication processes utilized in glass processing will also be addressed. Products to be discussed include: 

  • Acid-etched glass (color and patterns)
  • Back-coated glass (unlimited colors)
  • Patterned glass (type, size and product limitations)
  • Laminated/decorative art glass (colors, rice paper, films, fabrics, custom designs)
  • Luxar anti-reflective glass
  • Fire-rated glass + glazing systems
